The Southern Resident Killer Whales (SRKW) are native to the Salish Sea in Washington State and British Columbia. We appreciate this endangered species in the Pacific Northwest, and actions to support their conservation include increasing Chinook salmon abundance, reducing ocean noise/vessel disturbance, and minimizing toxic contaminants.
